Our history is firmly rooted in arboriculture.
The Tree Advisory Practice is the manifestation of two decades spent working with trees. It is founded on practical experience, technical expertise and a genuine passion for understanding, managing and caring for trees and the landscapes in which they exist.
Where we started
The practice is led by Tom Hamments. Having spent his entire career in arboriculture, Tom began working on the tools before establishing and growing a successful Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor business, delivering high-quality services to a diverse range of domestic, commercial and local authority clients.
As his expertise in the technical and professional aspects of arboriculture developed, so too did the consultancy side of the business. Over time, this evolved into a specialist service in its own right, culminating in a restructuring of the business and the creation of The Tree Advisory Practice.
The Tree Advisory Practice combines specialist knowledge with extensive practical and technical experience. We also work closely with a network of trusted specialists across complementary disciplines, enabling us to provide expert advice and support across a wide range of projects.
